Problem Statement

The client needed data management tool for city sensors connected to Raspberry Pis, transmitting every 30 seconds via satellite. The challenge was to efficiently retrieve, store, and update this data in the database while ensuring seamless visualization on the admin panel within a dynamic table format. Furthermore, the data needed to undergo serialization, wrangling, and training on a machine learning model of the user's choice to enable the implementation of a smart city concept.

Proposed Solution

Obsidian Vertex helped Omniteq by creating a robust data management system, integrating sensor data retrieval, database storage, and dynamic visualization. Using advanced serialization and data wrangling, we ensured efficient processing of incoming sensor data. Real-time updating of the admin panel's data table was enabled, along with tailored machine-learning models for predictive analytics. Dynamic preferences for data visualization were provided to realize the smart city concept.
